Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Wall Street Africa Inc website at wallstreet.africa (the “Site”). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. About us

The Site is operated by Wall Street Africa Inc (“Wall Street Africa,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), with headquarters at 2nd Floor, Nairobi Securities Exchange, 55 Westlands Road, Westlands, Nairobi, Kenya.

2. Use of the Site

The Site is provided for general informational purposes about our Business Intelligence, Financial Media, and Investment Events. You agree to use it lawfully and not to:

• misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site or its systems;
• copy, scrape, or republish substantial parts of the Site without our permission;
• use the Site in any way that infringes the rights of others or breaches applicable law.

3. Not investment advice

Content on the Site, and in our media and events, is for general information only. It is not investment, financial, legal, tax, or other professional advice, and it is not an offer, solicitation, or recommendation to buy or sell any security or financial instrument. Markets carry risk, and past performance is not a guide to future results. You should obtain independent professional advice before making any financial decision. Wall Street Africa is not acting as your adviser or fiduciary by providing this content.

4. Intellectual property

The Site and its content, including text, graphics, logos, the Wall Street Africa name and marks, and design, are owned by or licensed to Wall Street Africa and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and share links to the Site, but you may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent.

5. Third-party links and content

The Site links to third-party sites and services (for example, The Kenyan Wall Street, podcast and newsletter platforms, the event prospectus, and our LinkedIn page). We do not control and are not responsible for the content, products, or privacy practices of those third parties. Links are provided for convenience only and do not imply endorsement.

6. Forms and submissions

When you submit information through our contact or waitlist forms, you confirm that the information is accurate and that you are entitled to provide it. How we handle your data is set out in our Privacy Policy.

7. Event tickets and payment

Tickets for our events, including Bullish Africa 2026, are sold through Luma, our ticketing platform, and paid for by card through Stripe. Wall Street Africa Inc is the seller of record: Luma and Stripe process the transaction on our behalf, and your contract for a ticket is with us. Ticket prices are stated in US dollars and are exclusive of any bank or card charges your own provider may apply.

A ticket admits one named person. Registration requires the details requested at checkout, and places are limited, so a ticket is confirmed only once payment has been completed and you have received confirmation from Luma. We may decline or cancel a registration where the event is at capacity, where the details given are inaccurate, or where attendance would be inappropriate for a professional convening of this kind. If we cancel for one of those reasons, we refund in full.

Refunds and cancellations

If you cancel your own registration, the following applies, calculated from the event date:

• Full refund: cancellation 14 days or more before the event, subject to a 5% processing fee.
• 50% refund: cancellation between 7 and 13 days before the event.
• No refund: cancellation within 7 days of the event.

To request a refund, or to ask about these terms, email events@wallstreet.africa. Refunds are returned to the original payment method, and the 5% processing fee reflects charges we cannot recover. Where the schedule above differs from the refund policy shown at checkout, the policy shown at checkout applies.

Tickets may be transferred to another person before the event by emailing us at the address above. If we cancel or materially reschedule an event, you may choose a full refund or a ticket to the rescheduled date. We are not able to refund travel, visa or accommodation costs in any circumstances, and we recommend you do not book non-refundable travel until your registration is confirmed.

Attending the event

Our events are photographed, filmed and recorded. As part of registration you are asked to agree to a media consent and release, which permits us to use images, video and audio in which you appear. If you would prefer not to be recorded, tell us before the event at the address above. Venue details are shared with registered attendees rather than published, and you agree not to pass them on.

Programmes are indicative. Speakers, sessions and timings may change, and the substitution of a speaker is not by itself grounds for a refund.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any information on it is complete, accurate, or current.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wall Street Africa will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Site or any content on it.

10. Changes

We may update the Site and these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when these Terms last changed. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya, and any disputes relating to them or to the Site are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
