Mike Mompi co-founded Enza Capital, a multi-stage venture capital firm based in Nairobi, Kenya, which is now launching its AI Africa Fund. Over seven years and three funds, Enza has backed founders building high-growth technology businesses across fintech, human capital, health, education, climate and enterprise infrastructure, including ten AI-native companies to date, one of which was successfully exited in 2025.
An experienced venture investor and entrepreneur who has worked across four continents, Mike is a Kauffman Fellow. He serves as a Director on the boards of multiple high-growth, venture-backed technology companies across East, West, North and South Africa.
