Mercy Randa

Mercy has spent her career advising enterprises across Africa through take-off, turning points and crossroads, working across crisis and litigation communication, investor relations, pan-African market intelligence, and sustainability, impact and compliance.

She is the founder and Chief Executive of P&L Consulting Group, established in 2013 with operations in Kenya and Tanzania, and the founder of P&L Insights, an intelligence layer being built to make African market and policy data legible to global capital. She is a Partner at Frontière Advisory in the United Kingdom, and previously advised the African Development Bank as East Africa Regional Communication Consultant.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Economics from Daystar University, and is a graduate of the Women in Board programme at Strathmore Business School and Cranfield School of Management. Her work has won six awards from Kenya’s PRSK and SABRE Africa, including PRSK Overall Winner for Excellence in 2022.

Mercy joins Bullish Africa’s roster of global leaders shaping the conversation on capital, governance, and Africa’s next chapter. At the summit she will argue that what markets price as African risk is substantially a failure of legibility.
